How to fix DNS error, DNS Cache Flush, Clear, or Reset in Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8.







1. Type Cmd in the Start Search text box.

2. Press Ctrl-Shift-Enter keyboard shortcut to run a Command Prompt as an Administrator. Allow elevation.

3. Type netsh winsock reset in the Command Prompt , and then press the Enter key.

Do the same process for refreshing the TCP/IP just replace the typed command with.

4. netsh interface ipv4 reset press Enter

5. netsh interface ipv6 reset press Enter

6. ipconfig /flushdns press Enter
